Hale Kamaole Resort
Besides a premier South Maui Location at Kamaole III Beach (the quiet end end of Kihei), Hale Kamaole Resort offers 2 pools, office, tennis courts, 2 community BBQs and an on site concierge (by the lower pool). The resort is listed as one of the best values for a family vacation on Maui. The wide grassy areas, low rise buildings and tropical plantings are always commented on by guests. Pictures of the complex can be found in our Photo Gallery: Suite #162, Suite #239, Suite #250.
The layout of our condo...
South Maui, and in particular, south Kihei is known as Maui's sunshine coast. With an average rain fall of just 10" per year, it is likely you'll have many sunny days.
The temperature here is also ideal. Tropical trade winds keep us in the high 70's to low 80's (farenheit) all year.
Home to the Pacific Whale Foundation, Kihei has 15 miles of beach front. The three Kamaole beaches offer a variety of waterfront activities. Snorkeling, swimming, tide pools, life guards, volleyball, in-line skating, outrigger canoes and wind surfing lessons can all be found here.
The picture at the right top of this page shows Kamaole III beach as viewed from our park a few steps above. Besides offering a shady spot to read or watch activity on the beach, there is plenty of room for kite flying.
The Kihei Boat Ramp is just across the street from Hale Kamaole (south of Kamaole III Beach) and offers small boat trips to Molokini, LaPeruse Bay and Turtle Town. With most trips going early in the morning, it sure is nice to be able to walk just 3 minutes to catch your boat.
